What Nomadia is

Nomadia is a matching board for people who want to exchange cash and crypto in person, plus an open-source escrow contract that holds the crypto side until both people confirm. Nomadia does not hold funds, convert currency, or move money on anyone's behalf.

Custody

The escrow contract is non-custodial. Funds are deposited by the trader into the contract and can only be released by the rules written in it. Nomadia's servers hold no keys that can move user funds. The contract source is public on GitHub.

Limits and identity tiers

Trade size is capped per trade according to how the person is identified. The caps exist to keep anonymous activity small and to make larger trades traceable to a verified channel.

• ✓Anonymous: up to $100 per trade, contact channel required.
• ✓Wallet signature, Google or Apple: up to $500 per trade.
• ✓Telegram with phone verification: up to $1500 per trade.

What we record

We store offer details (amounts, currency, city), the namespaced identity of the two participants, ratings, funnel events, and the reference rate frozen at match time. We do not collect identity documents, selfies, or bank details. Contact details are shown only to the two participants of a matched trade.

Current status

Nomadia runs on the Base Sepolia test network with test tokens. No real money moves. There are no fees. This phase exists to test the flow with real people before any mainnet release.

What we do not do yet

We prefer to list this plainly.

• ✓No sanctions or PEP screening of participants. Planned before mainnet.
• ✓No money-services licence in any jurisdiction. The non-custodial design is intended to keep Nomadia outside that scope; a legal review is in progress.
• ✓No identity document verification. Tiers rely on wallet signatures and platform sign-ins.

Your responsibility

You are responsible for following the laws that apply to you, including tax reporting and any local rules on cash transactions. Nomadia is a tool for two people who choose to trade with each other.
